| MOUNT VERNON - A Vietnam
soldier's pledge -- made and delayed, but never forgotten for 35

Interview
with Lt Col Charles P Graham, Commander, 2d Squadron, 1st Cavalry,
conducted by Capt Peter L Sawin on 29 June 1968. Lt Col Graham was
our second commander in Vietnam and the first one to serve a full
six months in the position. Some of his insights in mid-1968 were
foretelling of what the future would hold for us.
